Carlos Museum Teacher Workshop: Ancient Innovation

Necessity is the mother of invention. Educators are invited to explore how ancient cultures made technological advancements utilizing design and engineering to meet their needs. On an after-hours tour of the galleries, educators learn about the challenges and resources that informed ancient innovation. After, participants are invited to take part in a design thinking activity that they can take back to the classroom.

Fee: $10 for Carlos Museum members; $15 for nonmembers. Space is limited, and registration is required by contacting Katie Ericson at kericso@emory.edu, or 404-727-2363.
