Design It: Animal Exhibit Design 101

This program is part of a STEAM series collaboration by the Atlanta Botanic Garden, Zoo Atlanta, Georgia Aquarium, High Museum of Art and the Carlos Museum. The series is designed to enhance your STEAM curriculum during these four interactive sessions. Each session will be held at a different institution and focus on the connection between conservation and art. Register for all four sessions or just one.

Design It at Zoo Atlanta:
Interested in adding a unique real-world context to STEAM for your students? Join us to learn the ins and outs of designing animal exhibits at Zoo Atlanta. Educators will get an up-close look at designing animal exhibits while focusing on the needs of the animals, keepers, and Zoo guests. Participants will engage in a hands-on exhibit and interpretive design as they research, design, and collaborate with fellow educators. There will also be time to plan and adapt the lessons to your own classroom curriculum.
