Fannin County’s STEM/ STEAM Journey

This session will explore how a rural school district transformed an elementary school to become GaDOE STEM Certified. Lucas Roof, Fannin County CTAE Director, and other presenters will describe their experiences through the certification process, obstacles in a rural setting, community partners they established, and the future endeavors for the system. Discussions and information will be provided on how they are expanding STEM and STEAM into their middle and high schools.
