August 23, 2019 @ 6:00 am - 9:00 pm

This citizen science project will help scientists collect data on Georgia pollinator populations. On August 23rd and 24th Georgians across the state will identify and count pollinators. Counts will be easily uploaded to a website. This initiative is designed for educators to do with their classes. Online training will be provided to educators and support through email and social media will be ongoing starting in early 2019. Also, the project coordinator is available to visit classrooms through the online Zoom platform prior to the event. This event can be done at the school’s pollinator garden or a supporting local pollinator garden. Sign up at the website https://GGaPC.org to receive information.
