UNCONSCIOUS BIAS: GIRLS, STEAM AND LEADERSHIP

Virtually join public and independent school teachers at Atlanta Girls’ School as we explore stereotype threat, unconscious bias, and gain training to support underrepresented students interested in pursuing careers in STEAM.
The 2-day virtual Institute costs $100 and will include both public and private school educators to explore best practices and research that shows how to engage girls, young women, and students of diverse backgrounds in interdisciplinary learning that highlights STEAM by promoting awareness, education, and networking opportunities.
Virtual sessions will explore:
- STEAM and interdisciplinary teaching and learning strategies
- Growth mindset, stereotype threat, and unconscious bias
- Diversity, equity, and inclusion work
- Design-thinking and project-based learning
